Allison Lerette is a physiotherapist who believes in exercise and movement as the answer to [life] treatment, management and prevention of injuries. Allison has experience working with people of all ages, with a special focus in paediatric-adolescent populations. She has taken courses in manual therapy, exercise prescription, concussion management, pain management as well as dry needling and acupuncture. Her treatment approach involves evaluating her patient as a whole to determine how to optimize their performance and decrease the risk of injury.

As a former Dalhousie University varsity volleyball and track and field athlete, Allison has experience with the demands of sport on your mind and on your body. She still spends much of her time outside of the clinic both playing and coaching volleyball. Allison uses her experience from her athletic and coaching background, to help to coach her patients toward their goals whether that is injury recovery, return to sport, pain management or trying something new!

Erik Merchant is a Physiotherapist who uses manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, soft tissue release techniques and education as his primary modes of treatment. He is focused on providing treatment supported by current research to maximize results and meet client goals. Erik believes that one-on-one care and exercise provides the best results, and makes a point to get to know his client’s personally to ensure that their needs are understood and met. As a former Canada Games member and Acadia varsity soccer player, Erik knows the demands an athlete faces and understands first hand the road to recovery and transition back into sport following an injury. Erik has a particular interest in combining his physiotherapy skills and personal training knowledge to create exercise programs that not only rehabilitate current injuries, but prevents future time lost in sport, work and recreational activities that his clients love to do. Outside of work Erik continues to play soccer year round, is an avid skier, and loves music, but is an aspiring yet underachieving guitarist.

Drew Stratton is a Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach who uses a human movement based approach to health and performance. With advanced courses in movement screening and assessment, Drew looks at whole movement patterns to help people improve strength, balance, and agility, and to recover from injury. For over a decade, Drew has worked as an Exercise Physiologist/Strength and Conditioning Coach with youth, varsity and elite athletes, weekend warriors, and people just becoming active for the first time. Drew has a passion for helping individuals reach their optimal health, and believes physiotherapy is not only a tool for rehabilitation and recovery, but also an important regular practice for injury prevention and overall health. As a former university (Dalhousie) and professional basketball player (Australia/Canada), and current elite basketball coach, Drew knows first hand the dedication it takes to perform at a high level and the hardships of overcoming an injury to return to play.
